PAKENHAM UPPERTOOMUC ladies team travelled to Dendy Park to play Brighton East on Sunday and although not winning, fought the game out well
Brighton East opened the batting setting a high target 6/208.
Two wickets each went to E. Storer and L. Perri and one to J. Perri.
Great catching and quick thinking gave the girls two quick wickets and a runout.
The Yabbies opened the batting with C. Riorden and A. Littlejohn.
It was a great knock by C. Riorden (30) including a six.
There was a quick eight runs to J. Cooke, but a standout performance to A. Littlejohn (43) backed up by L. Perri (28).
Although the girls didn’t reach the target, they held onto their wicket and played out the overs, finishing with 2/151.
