HUNDREDS of people have rolled up their sleeves and got to work for a good cause.
The Blood Bank was at the Cardinia Cultural Centre in Pakenham and residents took the chance to donate muchneeded supplies.
Pakenham Red Cross spokeswoman Meryl Waterhouse said more than 340 people donated blood during the threeday visit by the Blood Bank.
The Blood Bank service will be back at the cultural centre today (Wednesday, 26 July) from 9.45am to 3.15pm.
It will also return in about three months.
Call 9694 0216 for an appointment. Donations of all blood types are urgently needed.
