Super season ready to go

BEACONSFIELD Superules Club is gearing up for the new season and is again fielding two sides in the Victorian Superules competition, in divisions one and three.
The division one team will play under senior coach Darren Hamilton and his assistants William Flight, John Tiberi and Rick Dunstone.
Other officials for 2006 include team manager Pat Sheedy, division one captain Mick Vandenberghe and vicecaptain Gavin Mickleborough.
The division three side will be coached by Gary Valentine with his team manager Gary Cameron and be captained by Matt Gubbins.
Last year the first division side finished seventh while the third division side played off in an elimination final.
This year both division teams will be looking at improving on those efforts, with a solid influx of players.
Among those arrivals are Chris Brimble, Scott Sutherland, Christian Studham, Craig Hills, Peter Harrington, David Kervin, Glenn Wilson, Troy Payne, Peter Richardson, Mike Wright, Anthony Marks and Craig Sherrifs.
The 2006 club committee consists of president Glenn Stacey, secretary Matt Gubbins, treasurer Gary Cameron, (general committee) Garry Valentine, Craig Belle, Lisa Valentine, Mick Van Den Berghe, John Tiberi, Jim Davine, Jenni McKenna and Donna Ward.
Departures for 2006 were Brett Dunne, Vinnie Shaw and Darren Shaw.
Membership for 2006 has been set at $70 and is available now.
