THE Gippsland Sports Academy has invited two Australian athletes with a disability to become its ambassadors.
Tim Matthews and Don Elgin are excited about their roles and are committed to supporting and mentoring young elite athletes.
They will also promote and market The Gippsland Sports Academy.
A spokesperson said the board of management was pleased to have two exceptional young Australians as ambassadors, because of their endeavours and availability to raise the profile of the academy.
“Don and Tim’s demeanour and achievements present as a positive role model for our elite young athletes to reach their full potential in both their chosen sport and personal lives,” he said.
