Tune in, for all things Wyrd

STRANGE happenings and events of a magical tendency are afoot within the walls of Gemco, as the troupe conjures up a hilarious season of Pratchett — Terry Pratchett that is. Wyrd Sisters have been detected lurking about the vicinity.
“A cacophony of colliding colour to transport all who enter into our freaky fantasy,” was the vision expressed by director Cheyney Caddy, when talking about Gemco’s coming season of Terry Pratchett’s Wyrd Sisters.
The play is the latest production by the Emeraldbased Gemco theatre group.
It will capture all the atmosphere of DiscWorld, a fantasy world familiar to Pratchett followers, according to director Caddy.
“We want to usher the audience into another dimension,” she said. “A bizarre and brilliant world — a world of witches and wild intrigue.”
The play’s plot revolves around a gang of witches who start playing at royal politics in DiscWorld.
A cast of 25 talented players will be part of this production.The performance will be held at 7.30pm 1517, 2426, 2931 March at the Gemco Theatre, Kilvington Drive, in Emerald.
There will also be a matinee performance on Saturday, 24 March, at 2pm.
