Willis takes title

KOOWEERUP Motorcycle Club’s Coby Willis claimed first position in the 2005 Victorian OffRoad Championship by winning the Junior Enduro held at Alexandra recently.
Willis won the J5, 125 twostroke and 250 fourstroke class by 38 seconds, with Glynn Taylor and Harrison Saunders rounding out the top three 67 seconds behind. Willis also won the outright title over Taylor and intermediate rider Danny McConville.
The Victoria Police Club and Kooweerup Motorcycle Club set up and ran the event with success.
Willis has had a great year on his KTM 125SX bike, winning eight of the nine events and said he would be back to defend his title next year.
