Jo Bruce in goals for the first time this year was aggressive and with the strong support of fullbacks Kim Dorling and Laura James repelled any balls approaching the goalmouth.
The Baw Baw side settled down and quietly built their game and by the end of the first half, Baw Baw threatened, with the aid of several penalty corners, to score. It was a very evenly matched game but RMIT was able to score the only goal for the game.
