Blood bank topped up

RESIDENTS have responded to calls for donations to the Red Cross blood bank.
Pakenham Red Cross unit spokeswoman Meryl Waterhouse said it was pleasing to see so many people answer the call. “The new system of appointments seemed to work well with 343 donations received.”
