Rob rules at Pakenham

ROB Curtis, with an excellent 66, won the November monthly medal at Pakenham Golf club on Saturday.
The Agrade winner was Stojko Kresojevic with 68 and Cgrade went to Richard Walker with 67.
Tym Davey was the winner of the Scratch event with 75.
Peter Holland Concrete sponsored the medal.

The B.M.R. Autos nearest the pin second shot on the sixth went to Scott Milnes, the Unique Bathroom Design and Renovation second shot on the 11th went to Bret Mottrom and the CTM Bricklaying second shot on the 17th was won by P. DeMay, a visitor from Mooroopna.
Tasi Taito received a ball for a birdie on the fifth hole.
Mason Shadwell won the B.M.R. Autos longest drive for Agrade and Michael Hildebrand took out Bgrade.
The McIntyre Painting Cgrade longest drive went to Jeff Paterson.
Raffle winners were Tony Sheehan and Graeme Steel.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:TWILIGHT COMPETITION

This started last Wednesday.
Hitoff times are from 3pm and meals are available after the nine holes.
Members are welcome to bring family and friends for golf or if they do not play just come along for the meal.
The competition is open to all – members and nonmembers, handicap and nonhandicap players.

More than 110 players took part in one of the best starts to the twilight competition.
There were five players who came in with a score of 23, but on the countback the winner was Bianca Walker from Graeme Steel.

The Social winner was Davina Milnes with 17 points.

The bar will be open Friday afternoons on a trial basis.

This was stroke and Bob Morrison was the winner with 63, followed by Doug Scurr with 67.

Stojko Kresojevic was the winner of the nearest the pin on the second hole and Bob White took out the eighth and the 14th went to Stuart Hare.

A total of 77 players competed in the Stableford competition.
Rory Sutton came in with 46 points to win from George Coffey 42 and Bob Morrison 41.
Down the lines went to Noel Bonne 40, Jack Jackson 40, Joseph Brennan 40, Greg Roberts 39, Al Campbell 39, Brian Doherty 38, Rob Christie 38, M. Hibberson, Harri Capobus 37 and John Moore 37.
Nearest the pin on the second hole went to Bert Burniston and the 14th to Stan Gilbert and Shannon Sandiford took out the 16th.

It was a Stableford event and 18 players competed with Rod Withington coming in the winner with 40 points from Matt Yusoff 38.

On 2 November the members were all set for a great fun pre Oaks Day, when the heavens opened.
However 36 very brave ladies went and played two ninehole competitions.
With the clubhouse decorated for the day, everybody who stayed had a great day with lots of fun.
The hat parade created a lot of fun and the food excellent thanks to Sue and Bill.
The winner of the most conventional hat was Lyn Norton from Devil Bend and Helen Aurish from Pakenham took out the novelty section.
Lulla Bishop was thanked for the hatparade prizes.
Frontnine winners were Mary Clark (Drouin) and Joan Rawson (Pakenham) with 20 points and the backnine winners were visitors from Devil Bend in Helen Friend and Lyn Norton also with 20 points.
Runnersup on the front nine were Marg Jackson and Norah Gasgard (Pakenham) with 19 points and the back nine runnersup were Leonie Sander and Leanne Barker (Pakenham) with 17 points.
Nearest the pin on the second hole went to Shirley Roberts and the 14th to Leonie Sander.
Downtheline ball winners were Bev Goodwin and Marg Purcell (Drouin) 19, Shirley Roberts/Bernice Miller 18, Lesley Davidson/Lesley Paterson 18, Loretta Stewart/June Hunter (Garfield) 17 and Val Carroll/Robyn Wheeldon 16.
Bev Morgan and Marg Turner plus Loretta Stewart and Maria Warburton were thanked for their donation of prizes for the pre Oaks Day.
This week, Thursday is the ladies day of the Pakenham Annual Tournament and Friday is fourballbestball Stableford.

Pakenham members Scott Milnes and Andrew Villinger, joined six other Victorians to represent the state against South Australia in the Victorian Country Team Annual multiformatted event.
The foursomes was played Saturday morning, fourballbestball Saturday afternoon and the Dunhill cup individual stroke events on Sunday. Victoria was victorious 12.5 to 3.5.
