BERWICK Wickers’ youth girls had a percentageboosting victory on Saturday as they systematically destroyed an underpowered Waverley at Casey Fields.
The Wickers played hard, disciplined football to record their biggest ever victory in the Footy Pak Cup. Coach Hugh Marshall praised the players’ commitment after the game and encouraged them to continue the accountable football they have demonstrated in the opening two rounds.
The Wickers are on top of the ladder and looking to forward to this weekend’s game against Narre Warren Magpies.
