BERWICK Opportunity Shop has given community organisations $190,000 from a year’s trading.
Opportunity shops provide a winwin situation for the community because they provide a means for people to hand over redundant clothes and goods that are too good to be thrown out, a source of budget buying for people, and a lucrative source of funds for community organisations.
Op shops are staffed by volunteers and are one of the good things in society.
Those who work for op shops are deserving of a thank you once in a while.
Op shop a worthy winner
