Robbers grab cash at High Street ATM

Rebecca Fraser
A MAN was robbed at a High Street ATM last week following a brazen attack in Berwick.
The Berwick resident withdrew $100 from the National Bank cash dispenser about 5.30pm on Thursday when the incident occurred.
Police said he was then nudged in the back after collecting his cash and stumbled and dropped both the money and his sunglasses on the footpath.
By the time he regained his balance two young men had picked up the money and fled up High Street.
The two then jumped into a white EL Ford Falcon sedan with Pplates and drove past the man as they headed towards Narre Warren.
The 20yearold then followed in his own car until he lost sight of the pair.
The first man was believed to be 20 years old, of fair complexion, medium build, about 180 centimetres and wearing a tracksuit, black Tshirt and a white cap worn backwards.
The second man was also believed to be 20 years old, of fair complexion, wearing blue jeans and white Tshirt, with black hair, of medium build and about the same height.
Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact Narre Warren CIU on 9705 3111 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Police were reviewing video surveillance footage.
