Bullant bowlers bite bats

OFFICER Agrade’s bowlers contained Merinda Park’s bats on Saturday, bowling them out for 154.
The wickets were shared around with Andrew Tucker taking 3/21 off 10.2 overs, Ben Tivendale 2/20 from 13 tight overs, Kable Dowsett 2/33 from 10 overs, Sean Marchetti 2/21 off 8 overs and Clint Williams 1/29.
The Bullants then batted for 17 overs being 2/21 at stumps. Clint Williams is seven notout and Rod Zlonzak 11.

C GRADE

Officer batted all day to make 7/199 with Peter Tucker top scoring with some great drives in his 53.
Pat Tucker copped a bean ball to the head and batted sensationally for 45 notout, the second game in a row he has made an unbeaten 40.
Simon Armstrong made a sold 21 with Tony Smith 14.
Darryl Timms made 10 notout and the Bullants again batted out the overs to be well placed going into this weekend’s game.

E GRADE

Officer was again hit hard by injuries and made 79 against fourthplaced Gembrook.
Tom Bulenok top scored with 11 and David Batchelor and Peter Quigley both made 10.
With the ball, Officer took 4/133 with Tom Bulenok 2/45, Wayne Danks 1/22 and Jayden Bell 1/43.

UNDER 17

The Bullants played Tooradin and batted first making 74.
Luke Beaumont was the best of the batsmen with another good performance to make 31.
Michael Haughton made 10 and Xavier Quigley and Neil Adams five each, with Neil Adams being notout.
Tooradin was 1/16 at stumps with Michael Haughton 1/5 the successful bowler.

UNDER 15

Officer dismissed Upper Beaconsfield for 58 with Jayden Joyce 2/4, Jake Cameron 2/4 and Lewis Bond 2/7 all doing well.
At stumps Officer was 5/20 in reply with Tom Marks leading the way with 10 notout including a boundary. Jake Cameron made five.

UNDER 13

Officer batted brilliantly against Beacy Minors, the top team to make 6/129.
R. Burns made 20, N. Selleck 17 and Luke Marchetti 14.
This was a great batting effort and with 14 players to pick from, the under 13s are showing a lot of improvement.
