POLICE have arrested an 18yearold man after a car chase through the streets of Pakenham last Friday morning.
The car was intercepted on the Princes Highway at 3.15am after police spotted the man driving dangerously. Police pursued the driver before he stopped his car in Main Street, Pakenham, and fled on foot.
He was eventually caught in the backyard of a nearby house and arrested. Police said the Pakenham resident is expected to be charged with drinkdriving and other traffic offences.
