Kooweerup juniors triumph

ON A wet and windy morning, the Kooweerup under13s travelled to Poowong.
In the first quarter both teams came out fighting hard, scores being level at the first break.
In the second quarter the Demons dominated in the ruck, kicking four goals in heavy conditions and leaving Poowong scoreless.
The third quarter proved to be hard work and neither team kicked goals.
In the last quarter, with rain coming down, neither side would give up. But the Demon youngsters managed to add two more goals, winning by 38 points in a great effort.
