THE next free licence plate check in the City of Casey will be held from 10am3pm this Sunday at Endeavour Hills Shopping Centre, level 2 car park, opposite the car wash.
Casey acting manager of community safety Caroline Bell said stolen plates could be used for a range of traffic offences and could cause considerable inconvenience.
“The risk of licence plate theft is greatly reduced when licence plates are fitted with the antitheft screws, and I strongly encourage people to take part in this free service,” she said.
