KOOWEERUP’S lowergrade sides had good wins over Poowong at the weekend.
E GRADE
Kooweerup scored well in the first five minutes, Sam Belsham, Mariah Bell and Stephanie Kelly working well in attack. The defence worked hard at keeping pressure on Poowong, keeping the Magpies to one goal in the first quarter.
The players changed positions in the second half and Laura DeHommell and Belsham scored quick goals.
With only seven players and no interchanges, Kooweerup worked at keeping Poowong at bay.

F GRADE
Wet conditions and lines confused the KWR girls at Poowong. Cassie Belsham and Sarah Cammarano working well in attack got 10 goals for last quarter.
