Ken McIntyre was the winner of A-grade with +6 and David Leach took out C-grade with a score of +4.

Nearest the pin on the Shanikas@Viale second hole was won by Jim Gilluley with Ken Hunter taking out the Bubba Pizza Pakenham fifth hole.
Neil Currie was the winner of the Dante’s Wood-fired Pizza eighth hole and the pro-pin went to Harry Leo.
Wayne Caffyn was the winner of the Pakenham Pizza 16th hole and the B.M.R. Autos second shot on the sixth saw Rob Curtis successful.
The B.M.R. Autos longest drive went to Colin Crowle with Doug Law the B-grade winner.
Peter Attwood was the winner of the McIntyre Painting C-grade longest drive.

The Eclectic winners for 2008 are – A Grade 0-12 handicap: The Scratch winner was Scott Milnes with 62 and the nett winner was Rob Sandiford 58.
B-grade (13-21 handicap) saw Rob Curtis win the scratch event with 66 and the nett winner was president Rob Nobelius 60.
Alan Tagell was the winner of the C-grade scratch (22-36 handicap) with 72 and Tom McDermott took out the nett division with 62.
Each Player receives $65 to spend in the Golf Shop.

Pakenham Golf Club opening day for 2009 will be held on Sunday, 18 January with a Mixed Canadian event followed by a barbecue tea.
Hit-off is 1pm. Those intending to play are asked to book, as catering numbers are required.
Cost is $12 per pair for golf and $15 per person for tea.

As many players were still on a break from work the Wednesday competition saw 107 players compete in the morning Stableford round.
The winner was Tim Cornell with a good score of 44 points from Arthur Ellis with 43.
Down-the-line balls went to Jake Rawiri 41, Barry Sorrell 41, Mark Klaver 40, Barry Williams 40, Bob Morrison 39, Peter Diss 39, Brian Webster 39, George Coffey 39, Stan Gilbert 38 and Paul Hobson 38.
Nearest the pin on the second hole was won by Eric Butcher with Bob Dowse taking out the fifth hole.
Greg Riley, who is back after not playing golf for a couple of years, took out the eighth hole and Rob Thoulliss was the winner on the 14th.
The 16th hole went to Graeme Steel.

Even though no snacks or meals were available, a number of players took part in the Stableford competition.
The winner was Bob Morrison with 22 on a countback from Jake Rawiri.

The Stableford competition on 4 January attracted 34 players with Joe Tonso coming in the winner with 41 points on a countback from J. Brown. Down-the-line balls went to Nigel Trickey 40, Lance Lee 40 and Murray O’Dwyer 40.
