Bunnings to open

WORK is underway on a Bunnings Warehouse and negotiations are continuing to bring another retailer to the site on the Princes Highway.
The $15 million development, opposite the Lakeside Estate, is expected to be complete by spring.
Bunnings Pakenham will provide employment for about 120 people. The warehouse will feature an outdoor nursery and enclosed timber sales area.
The development will also incorporate 300 car parking spots.
Bunnings’ general manager of property, Matt Toohey, said negotiations to bring another retailer to the site were continuing.
Bunnings will take up 7400sq m of the 11,700sq m development.
Mr Toohey anticipated that Bunnings would open its Pakenham store to the public in September, but that depended on weather.
