UP, UP and away.
That was the theme for youngsters at the Pakenham Library on Friday who first listened to windy weather stories before getting out paper bags to make their own kites.
There were streams of colour as the children, aged three to six, used their creativity during the school holiday activity.
However, none flew with their kite making being confined to the indoors as rain fell and the wind bellowed outside.
