AUDI Barry Bourke has opened its doors in Berwick.
The new dealership was officially opened last Thursday night, with former Australian professional tennis player Todd Woodbridge as the master of ceremonies.
Dealer principal Darren Bourke said the event attracted more than 180 guests.
For more than 20 years, the staff at Barry Bourke have been selling and servicing new and used vehicles in the area. Mr Bourke said construction of the new dealership, which is located at 755 Princes Highway, started earlier this year.
“We always thought there was a need for the Audi brand in the area,” he said.
“The feedback from the community has been really fantastic and positive. Many Audi owners are happy we’re now open for servicing and parts.”
The Audi dealership has been built according to Audi’s “terminal” style architecture.
The 1600 square metre facility boasts showroom space for 10 new cars and four service bays.
Mr Bourke said Audi cars were selling well as it was the fastest growing premium brand on the market.
“They are sporty cars and the technology in them is second to none,” he said.
