Enjoy a trip to Transylvania

THE Da Capo Singers will put on a riotous night of musical entertainment when they present an Evening in Transylvania on Halloween.
The concert, on Saturday 31 October at 8pm, will be held at the Berwick Masonic Hall in Berwick.
The centrepiece of the Halloween night concert is Joseph Horowitz’s self-described Choral Extravaganza titled “Horrortorio”.
It tells the touching tale of the nuptials between Dracula’s daughter and Frankenstein’s Monster, with some assistance from Kipling, Verdi, Handel, and Gilbert and Sullivan.
The choir will also sing spooky music by the likes of Bela Bartok, Benjamin Britten, Hugo Distler, Gyorgy Orban, Brent Pierce, R.W. Jones, and Arne Mellnas and Australian composers Colin Brumby, Stephen Leek, Wendy Morrissey and Judith Clingan.
Guests are encouraged to dress in their Halloween clothes.
Tickets cost $20, and $16 for concession.
For bookings call 0431 816 659.
