PAKENHAM homes are doing their bit to meet Target 155 and save money by installing water saving household products according to the latest figures.
Many members of the community had benefited from rebates under the Water Smart Gardens and Homes Rebate Scheme.
The State Government’s Water Smart Gardens and Homes Rebate Scheme encourages eligible Victorian households to claim rebates for purchasing water saving products such as rainwater tanks, greywater systems, dual flush toilets, water efficient showerheads and garden products.
Victorians have benefited from more than 250,000 rebates since the scheme was introduced leading to savings of more than 2.5 billion litres of water every year.
