THE annual Rotary Club of Pakenham White Elephant Clearing Sales Auctions will take place at the Pakenham Recreation Reserve on Saturday 28 November 2009.
All members are on full alert for the collection of donated goods by the general public.
These items can be taken to the ground on Friday 27 November or collected prior to the sale by Rotarians.
This year the club had young Daniel assist with the letter drop and he hopes that the flyer safely found its way into your home.
Previous years we have seen eager buyers purchasing so many bargains that they were literally unable to fit another item into their vehicle.
From its simple beginning in 1965 on a vacant block of land in Station Street, Pakenham, the Rotary Club has run this unique sale raising funds for Rotary and community projects.
The sale is split into two with donated goods being sold first at 9am and then followed by clearing sale type items to farm and heavy machinery sold on commission.
Goods can only be received at the ground on Friday 27 November between 8.30am and 6pm.
