Cardinia Shire councillors granted a time extension for planning permit T010716 to complete the project.
The proposal was generally considered to meet all requirements for a time extension, but councillor Brett Owen said by 2011 it would be time that all works were completed.
“Two new schools will be completed and future schools for the area are planned,” he said.
“I’d like to indicate that council would be very unlikely to allow further extensions.”
A stipulation of the extension includes an additional condition that access to the site on Starling Road must only be from the driveway opposite the Officer Recreation Reserve.
