THERE was no Fat Sale at Baw Baw Livestock Exchange, Warragul, last Wednesday and a lighter yarding of 341 head on Thursday saw an easier week for all concerned.
There was no easier time for prices, though, as cows rose 2.5 cents, good heavy cows sold to excellent demand, lighter quality cows were marginally back, with very few yarded, cows averaged 151.8 cents to top at 179.2 cents.
Bullocks were also strong averaging seven cents up at 184.5 cents to reach 191.2 cents and fewer bulls saw quality back a bit and averaged five cents easier topping at 180 cents.
