VALERIE Lucas is a long-time Pakenham resident, having lived in Pakenham on and off for 50 years.
“I feel lucky that I have seen the growth from a small country town to Pakenham as it is today,” she said.
Valerie retired four years ago and now keeps herself busy by communicating with her three children and four grandchildren interstate and taking holidays to visit them.
She has been treasurer of the Casey/Cardinia Life Activities Club for six years and is also a Co-Convenor of Day Trips and Short Holidays.
“My theory in life is to keep as active as I am able for as long as possible,” Valerie said.
