I WRITE regarding the article on hoons (Gazette, 2 February).
Is it any wonder this happens? If the police closed down parties that go until daybreak after many phone calls, maybe they would be in bed instead of tearing up the roads.
There is a party in Snodgrass Street nearly every second weekend and there’s plenty of kids walking at all hours, making plenty of noise throughout the night.
Maybe the cops should move back to James Street. Then they might hear what we have to put up with.
