Searching for a star

The Berwick Show Star Search grand final will be held on the main entertainment stage on Saturday 26 February between 5.45pm and 7.30pm.
There will be performers from two sections, the junior and open age, who will compete for cash prizes of $1000 donated by the Central Hotel at Beaconsfield, the major sponsor, and recording studio time donated by sponsor Audio Visual Media.
There will also be a people’s choice award, where the audience is encouraged to vote for their favourite performer, who will also receive a cash prize. It costs 50 cents to vote.
All money raised from the Berwick Show Star Search, from the auditions, heats and grand final, will be donated to the Cancer Council Relay For Life, to be held at Akoonah Park on 4 and 5 March.
