Scott sinks a hole in one

SCOTT Webster may need to take the cover off a wood to reach a par three green, but it didn’t stop him from scoring a dream hole in one on Saturday.
Playing at his home course of Warragul with fellow member of Club Verrückte, Shaun Petherick, he lined up at the 170-metre seventh hole.
Placing the ball on his lucky pink tee, the man dubbed “Scottie too Hottie”, took a swing so pure that Shaun’s brother Glenn called it as soon as the Precept left the club face.
The ball flew past the green and onto the hill at the back, then started rolling back down onto the green before dropping in the side door of the hole.
“It never crossed my mind the ball would drop in the hole, I was worried about beating the nearest the pin which was only about a foot away,” Scott said.
“It did drop and we all started dancing and yelling, it was unbelievable, I still don’t believe it happened.”
