EMERALD police are warning local stores to take extra care following three burglaries last week.
Thieves ransacked Gembrook Craft Cottage in Redwood Road, Gembrook, overnight on Thursday 17 March.
“They made an absolute mess of the hall and it’s a community hall,” Senior Constable Brett Hore said.
Thieves also broke into Little Gem Pizza, Café and Takeaway in the town’s Main Street the same night.
TMan’s Pizza on Belgrave-Gembrook Road was targeted the following night. Thieves broke a window to gain entry.
Sen Const Hore said garden sheds had also been recent targets and urged shed owners to lock up their tools.
