CARDINIA Highway Patrol’s Serg-eant Nigel Atkins has applauded local drivers over the Easter period.
“To date it has been excellent. “We’ve had very few crashes and those have been very minor and we’ve had no fatalities,” Sgt Atkins said on Monday.
He said police were out in force over the weekend and were being tenacious with their enforcement – which reflected on the road trauma outcomes.
“I’m very pleased with the current outcomes for road safety over the weekend,” he said.
“Speeding, drink driving and anti-social road behaviours will not be tolerated.”
Drivers, take a bow
