FOOT science in Pakenham is expanding. Husband and wife team and owners of South East Podiatry Dr Stacey and Dr Matthew Keating have just moved their ninth store to a much bigger location on James Street.
The old practice used to be just across the road on John Street next to the pizza shop and has been in the area for the past eight years. Dr Matthew Keating said it was time to upgrade.
“We needed a bigger site that could meet the demand of podiatry services in the area,” he said.
The expanded new location of the store will include three consulting podiatrists, a fully qualified administration staff and industry video gait analysis.
“We want to provide a friendly atmosphere where clients can come in and drink a cup of tea,” Mr Keating said. “I think we push the boundaries in all areas of the business and just want everyone who comes in here to feel welcome.”
Some of the South East Podiatry locations include Warragul, Cranbourne, Leongatha, Wonthaggi and Foster.
Cardinia Shire mayor George Blenkhorn was at the opening earlier this month to officially welcome the chain to its new location.
“I’m really quite pleased to see this chain doing so well,” he said. “It’s real reflection of Pakenham’s rising urban growth.”
