Last week I had the misfortune to get a flat tyre near McGregor Road in Pakenham.
I rang the RACV, who advised there would be a two hour wait for assistance.
As I was unsure how to change the tyre, I had no choice but to wait.
I got the spare tyre etc out and was waiting at the side of my car when a young guy walking down the highway yelled out and asked if I needed a hand.
I gratefully accepted his offer and 10 minutes later I was on my way.
It just shows that there are still some decent young guys out there willing to assist someone in need.
