AUTHOR Leanne Vernon visited Kooweerup Secondary College on Monday to talk about her two biggest passions; writing and netball.
Leanne spoke to the Year 7s and 8s at the college who had read her three books and those who were interested in netball.
The students were taught how to be a good writer, as well as how to create and develop characters.
Chantelle Pumphrey is an English teacher at the college and said the students who came to the session were interested in what Leanne had to say.
“Gifted English students and girls who love their netball were invited to come along to the session and really enjoyed what Leanne had to say,” she said.
