BAW BAW Shire Council is seeking comment on the Council’s draft Environment and Climate Change Strategy.
The draft document outlines the major environmental and climate change challenges facing Baw Baw Shire now and into the future.
Baw Baw Shire mayor Diane Blackwood said the strategy would help the council to adapt to an environmentally sustainable future.
Copies of the draft Environment and Climate Change Strategy are available at the Baw Baw Shire customer service centres, libraries and on the council’s website at www.bawbawshire.vic.gov.au
The draft Environment and Climate Change Strategy is available for public comment until 5pm on Friday 5 August 2011.
All written submissions should be addressed to Raj Manihar, environmental co-ordinator, Baw Baw Shire Council, PO Box 304, Warragul 3820. All submissions will be considered a public document unless specified by the submitter.
