THE two-man ambrose winners for Saturday’s competition at Pakenham Golf Club were Dale Wynne and Matthew Hogan (11.25) 61 ¾ nett From Matt Lloyd and Paul Mannens (8.5) 62 ½.
Balls down the line went to 65 ½ . Nearest the Pin on the second hole went to W. Knudsen with the fifth hole going to R Nancarrow. A. Tagell took out the eighth, the 14th went to R. Valena, the 16th to M. Boyd. The third hole second shot went to D. Nagel.
The longest drive winners were B. Derix (A Grade), M. Klaver (B Grade) and A. Williamson (C Grade).
The next two weeks will be captains trophy and a two-week stableford event with the two best combined scores to count.

Monday competition winner was Lee Belton with a traffic score of 42, runner-up was Nicholas McQualter with 39 and balls down the line went 35 on a countback. NTP were Barry Macdonald (second), Nicholas McQualter (eighth) and Ross Brooks (14th).
WEDNESDAY
Competition winner was Rod Cameron with 40 on a countback from Robert Yates, with balls down the line going to 34pts on a countback. Because of the poor conditions there was no super comp or nearest to the pins.
SUNDAY
The winner of the stableford competition was Damien Rhyne with 35 on a countback from John Moore and Matthew Hogan.

Rodney Vincent is coming back to Pakenham Golf Club on 30 July and tickets are $30 a head with finger food served at interval. Places are filling quickly, so be quick.
The progressive raffle will now be held in conjunction with the Rodney Vincent night because not all tickets were sold. First prize is a $1000 voucher and there are also 10 $100 vouchers.
The club has Wednesday night meals available from 5.30 to 8pm at reasonable cost. The first Wednesday night of the month is a roast carvery and the third is a pasta night. Three other menu options are available for those who do not eat pasta. Other Wednesday nights have an a la carte menu.
