Some lighter pens were back slightly but better quality pens raised the averages.
Two hundred and twenty two vealers rose three cents to 218.7 cents and the top was 270 cents, slightly easier than the previous week, but more consistent quality was marginally above average with excellent pens in the top end.
Thirty five bullocks lifted 12 cents to 179 cents. Demand was strong and resulted in the top price rising 5.5 cents to 187.6 cents.
Thirty eight heifers were three cents up at 163.6 cents and the top also lifted, making to 189.2 cents, 12 cents on last sale.
