MORE than 120 players enjoyed the fine weather and par competition at Cardinia Beaconhills Golf Links on Saturday.
Adrian Besley (12) took out the A Grade prize with a score of +3.
Tony Harrison (16) repeated his fine form of during the week to win B Grade with a score of +3, and Chris Bridge (23) won the C Grade event with a score of +4.
The players with the best shots on the pro-pin holes were Craig Perkins (A Grade) and Matt Iles (B Grade).
The semi-finals of the Founders Matchplay event saw Riley Stevens defeat Luke Whitworth, while Emil Ackaoui got across the line against Richard Knapman. Stevens and Whitworth will contest the final next week.

Sunday’s stroke competition was won by Dave Sando (22) with a nett score of 67.

Meanwhile, Tuesday’s stableford event saw Bob Lowery (23) win with a terrific score of 44 points.

Thursday’s competition saw racehorse trainer Tony Harrison (16) get his nose over the line in a photo-finish with a great score of +6, just edging out the fast finishing Graham Martin (20) with another good score of +5.

The ladies suffered a washout, heavy rain making the greens unplayable. It was decided to enjoy lunch by the open fire instead of playing in the rain.
