COMING events at the Pakenham Senior Citizen’s Centre include a soup and roll day with entertainment afterwards on Wednesday 24 August and a movie on Wednesday 14 September at Waverley.
Making a welcome return at the club’s most recent meeting were Henry Nicholson, Eve Conroy, Sue Johns, Norma Sweeney and Nan Short.
Pauline O’Brien and Betty Wells celebrated their birthdays.
Best wishes went to Dot Pockett, Betty Billings, Betty Koopman, John and Lydia Conway, Barry Williamson, Margaret Nash, Irene Jasper, Vi Tripp and Jean Eckers who were ill; while David Fairweather was in hospital.
Little Tatts winners were Wilma Johansson, Joyce Porter, Nola Hogan, Judy Brigham, Marjorie Williams and Alan Porter.
The door prize winners were Brenda Braden and Edna Long, and the raffle winners were Nola Hogan and Eileen Barrett.
The meeting was attended by 138 members.
