THE Heritage Springs Residents Group held a family fun day recently.
The 3 July event was the first of its kind for the group, and 30 people turned up to the Pakenham Springs Primary School gym for the radio control racing day.
The staff from Kids Room Hobbies demonstrated toy cars that sped up to 100km/h, as well as teaching the children how to drive them.
Helicopters were also part of the fun.
There was a racing course with a ramp set up to test everyone’s skills.
Coles donated a variety of snacks and attendees were asked to give a gold coin donation for the Cardinia Combined Churches Caring.
Anyone wishing to hear more about the group’s events can visit hsrg.org.au.
