APPLICATIONS are now open for the 2011/2012 Victorian Veteran Council Grants Program.
The program includes the Anzac Day Proceeds Fund and the Victorian Veterans Fund. The Anzac Day Proceeds Fund focuses on projects which provide welfare support to veterans and their dependants, through things such as temporary emergency accommodation, equipment and newsletters.
Assistance can be provided through supporting community education programs, exhibitions or displays, initiatives that honour or commemorate veterans’ service, and commemoration projects and events of local and regional significance.
