Drouin wins silver

DROUIN Golf Club members Kay Feaver and Karen Adams were the runners-up at the recent All Gippsland Championships at Warragul.
They grabbed second place in the Bronze Division Foursomes scratch event. Irene Thomas also did Drouin proud by having the best nine-hole nett score in the Silver Division.
Last Tuesday was a Stableford. Sherrie Abel was the winner with 34 points and runner-up was Ann Roberts with 33.
B Grade went to Sue Hatfield with 38 and Kay Grieve was runner-up with 32.
Winner of the nine-hole event was Audrey Farthing with 19.
Nearest the pins went to Sue Hatfield and Ellyn Thomson was closest at the pro-pin. Down the line balls went to Peg Hocking and Marg Rowe with 32.
Next week is a stroke event and the top eight players will qualify for the Captain’s Trophy.
