A YAKKERBOO toy has been found.
Stan Young of Pakenham called The Gazette following an article in last week’s paper seeking owners of a Yakkerboo soft toy.
He said he got the toy about 25 years ago, but doesn’t really know where it came from.
“I worked at the shire for 30 odd years, and we used to look after Yakkerboo because the shire was heavily involved at that stage,” Mr Young said.
“I think they brought these toys out as a bit of a promotion for him – they were sold as memorabilia. I have no idea how I got it, but I thought I’d keep it for the grandchildren.”
