Rodeo returns

THE Lang Lang rodeo will return once again this year, and is set to be bigger and better than ever.
In its 69th year, Easter Monday 9 April will see the infamous Lang Lang rodeo showcase bareback riders, steer wrestling, roping and barrel racing.
Also returning again will be the ever-popular dog show at lunch time, as well as the ute show, with entries from near and far.
The first event to kick-start the day will be kids and ladies’ barrel racing, followed by team roping and bareback riding.
Another experience not to miss is the bull riding event, with man pitted against bull.
With entertainment provided and plenty of activities for the kids, at only $20 a ticket, and kids under 15 admitted free, it’s a fantastic day out for the family.
With various food and drink tents to satisfy any taste, ranging from pancakes, to ice-creams to cocktails, you have no reason not to wander down!
With people coming from far and wide to witness the event, it’s not only the locals you will find at the Lang Lang rodeo.
The action will begin around 10am and conclude about 5pm.
For inquiries about the show, people can contact Cheryl Berry on 5997 5006, or email langlangshow@gmail.com
