LEPPITT Road was closed last Thursday morning as emergency crews worked to free a woman trapped in her over-turned car.
Police got the call at 10am that the driver of the car had lost control on the slippery wet road heading towards Pakenham.
Acting Sergeant Michael Jackson was at the scene and told the Gazette that the driver was uninjured.
“She was coming around the corner and lost control on the bend,” he said.
The uninjured woman, from Upper Beaconsfield, climbed out through the boot of the car and the road was opened later that morning.
