Dealership knows the drill

GILTRAP in Australia has recently announced it has taken on the distribution of the Taege range of Seed Drills.
Business development manager Warren Grose said the addition of Taege Seed Drills would complement Giltrap’s diverse machinery portfolio.
“Taege have a long and successful machinery manufacturing history in New Zealand, and recent times have seen Taege enjoying a steady increase in market share,” he said.
“Taege’s move to appoint Giltrap as the Australian distributor will provide purchasers and dealerships with local technical support along with timely, well-resourced spare parts service based in Melbourne.
“Further support will be provided at a local level with the appointment of selected authorised machinery dealerships to represent the product range.”
Taege Seed Drills have a proven record of providing excellent ground contour following that is achieved with flexible “S tynes“ which have a patented angle of entry into the ground.
The heavy duty, hot dipped galvanised frame and optional stainless steel fertiliser and seed boxes ensure a long lasting drill with minimal maintenance.
A reliable computerised system manages both seed and fertiliser dispensing and is standard on all models. The electronic sponge roller metering system is used to accurately and gently handle a wide variety of seeds, ensuring protection of the seed for maximum germination.
This system provides the operator with a quick, user friendly way to accurately calibrate sowing rates across all types of seed and fertiliser.
To find out how a Taege drill can work for you, contact Giltrap or your local authorised Taege Dealer to arrange for a demonstration on your farm. Phone 1800 127 030 or visit www.giltrapag.com.au
