Raising the bar

I WOULD like the thank the Gazette for last week’s article on Mary and I retiring from the Nar Nar Goon Milk Bar and General Store after 14 years.
However, under the pressure of being interviewed, I neglected to acknowledge some very important people in the article.
Our daughter Emma, son Andrew and his wife Erin must be thanked, along with the lovely staff that has helped us immensely during those 14 wonderful years.
Thanks also to our many loyal customers who helped make our time in the shop so enjoyable.
And I also should thank Mary for putting up with me for so long.
