Diners share the benefits

GUESTS at the Casey Wealth Advisers Ladies Day Lunch contributed more than $8000 to the coffers of the Children First Foundation.
That takes the contribution to Moira Kelly’s organisation to $32,000 over the past five years. This is enough to fly 10 children to Australia for life changing, and often lifesaving, surgery.
Sixty-one ladies attended the luncheon at Eighty One Restaurant in Berwick, the largest number in the seven it has been held. They included clients, local businesswomen and women from around the district.
Casey Wealth Advisers, owned by Lisa O’Sullivan and Peter Cousins, used to hold the lunch at the Pakenham racecourse on Caulfield Guineas Day. It was transferred to Eighty One when the racecourse closed down to relocate and has been held there since.
Guests were treated to an enlightening address by former opera singer and communications specialist Dr Louise Mahler, who generously donated her time to the cause.
She had the audience fully involved as she brought the worlds of art and business together by explaining the benefits of harnessing the positive benefits of voice and gestures, using well-known examples like US presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.
