Prices firm in growing market

There were approximately 330 export and 400 young cattle penned representing an increase of 50 head from the sale of a fortnight ago at Pakenham’s Victorian Livestock Exchange.
The usual buying group was present and operating in a generally firm market.
Quality remained wintry with prime cattle in short supply and a better selection of feeder steers.
